How to troubleshoot popups not working in Autotask

To ensure correct functionality of the Autotask PSA platform, it is recommended to enable pop-ups in your browser settings as the interface uses overlapping windows when accessing its menus and commands.

To enable Autotask PSA pop-ups in Microsoft Edge:

  1. Launch the Edge browser and click the Settings and more icon  in the upper-right corner and select Settings.
  2. Enter Pop-ups in the Settings search box, or select Cookies and site permissions > All permissions > Pop-ups and redirects.
  3. In the Allow section, click Add (the Add a site dialog box opens).
  4. Enter the following site: [*.]autotask.net and click Add.

To enable Autotask PSA pop-ups in Google Chrome:

  1. Launch the Chrome browser and click the Customize and control Google Chrome icon in the upper-right corner and select Settings.
  2. Enter Pop-ups in the Settings search box, or select Privacy and security > Site Settings> Pop-ups and redirects.
  3. In the Allowed… section, click Add (the Add a site dialog box opens).
  4. Enter the following site: [*.]autotask.net and click Add.

Tip: To bypass a popup window, use Ctrl-click on an Autotask command to open it in a new browser tab.
